Infusion & IV Therapy Program
Program Overview
The Infusion & IV Therapy Program supports healing by delivering key nutrients directly into the bloodstream, where they can be absorbed quickly and effectively. This approach helps restore energy, boost the immune system, improve hydration, and support recovery from injury, illness, or physical stress. Each infusion is selected based on your symptoms, lab values, and overall health needs.
Services
Vitamin and Mineral Infusions
These infusions deliver essential nutrients like vitamin C, B-complex, and magnesium directly into your system for immediate use. They help restore energy, support nerve health, and reduce inflammation in patients who feel depleted or who struggle to maintain adequate nutrient levels through diet alone. This treatment is often chosen by patients experiencing fatigue, muscle soreness, or increased stress on the body.
Immune Support and Recovery Blends
Illness, physical stress, and injury can weaken the immune system. Our immune-support infusions combine antioxidants, hydration, and targeted nutrients to help strengthen your natural defenses. This service is recommended for patients recovering from infection, managing high levels of stress, or preparing for periods of increased exposure, such as travel or seasonal illness.
Amino Acid and Hydration Therapy
Amino acids are essential for muscle repair, metabolism, and recovery after physical activity. When combined with hydration therapy, they help restore fluid balance, support tissue repair, and reduce post-exercise discomfort. This option is helpful for active patients, athletes, or anyone who feels depleted after long periods of exertion or illness.
Post-Surgical and Performance Recovery
After surgery or intense physical activity, the body requires additional resources to heal and rebuild. IV therapy supports this process by improving circulation, reducing inflammation, and supplying nutrients needed for tissue repair. Patients recovering from orthopedic procedures or managing high training demands often notice improved recovery times and energy levels.

Why Specialized IV Therapy Outperforms Oral Supplements
Oral vitamins pass through the gastrointestinal tract, where breakdown from gastric acids, liver first-pass metabolism, and intestinal absorption barriers cap bioavailability at just 15% to 30%.
Intravenous nutrient therapy delivers 100% systemic cellular saturation instantly, driving rapid tissue repair, mitochondrial hydration, and immune defense.

Private IV lounge in a board-certified specialist clinic
Same comfort as a wellness studio. The medical infrastructure of a full orthopedic practice.
IV therapy in Orlando is split between two options that don’t quite fit. On one side, wellness lounges: comfortable, relaxed, run by staff whose training in infusion varies. On the other side, hospital infusion rooms: efficient, sterile, and not designed for a wellness session.
UIC’s IV therapy suite is built to feel like the first and operate like the second.
The lounge.
Private, quiet suites. Reclining chairs built for actual relaxation, not a hospital chair. Warm ambient lighting on dimmers. Personal media control. Room enough for a laptop, a book, or a partner in the room with you. This is the setting we’d want our own family in.
The safety.
Every session is delivered inside a licensed medical practice with a physician on premises. Every IV is placed by a registered nurse. Every formula is reviewed against your intake, your allergies, and your medications before it’s mixed. Every drip is monitored by staff trained to recognize and respond to reactions.
Adverse reactions to IV therapy are rare. When they happen, the difference between a lounge and a medical practice matters.
Both are here. In the same room.

Frequent Asked Questions
IV Infusions
1. Do I need a doctor's referral to book an IV session?
No. You can book directly. First-time patients complete a short intake that a physician reviews before your first drip.
2. How long does an IV session take?
Most drips take 45 to 60 minutes. Migraine and Hangover drips run 30 to 45 minutes. We tell you the expected length when you book.
3. Is IV therapy covered by insurance?
No. UOC is a cash-pay practice across every service line, IV therapy included. We don’t work with commercial insurance or Medicare. HSA and FSA funds are eligible where your plan allows. Bring your card and we’ll help you check.
4. Can I use my HSA or FSA?
In many cases, yes. Eligibility depends on your plan and the specific drip. Our team can help you understand what applies.
5. How often can I do IV therapy?
Depends on the drip. Hydration and Recovery drips are safe weekly if your case supports it. Immunity and Myers’ can also be weekly during high-need periods (illness season, travel, high stress). Vitamin D3 typically follows a lab-guided cadence, often monthly. Your medical team designs your cadence.
6. Are there any side effects?
Most patients feel nothing beyond the pinch of the IV placement. Some report a warm sensation or a metallic taste briefly during the drip. Serious side effects are rare. Every session is monitored by an RN with a physician on premises.
7. Can I combine drips or add on ingredients?
Yes, within limits set by your physician. Common add-ons like B12, glutathione, or biotin can be added to most drips. Some combinations aren’t clinically appropriate. Your RN and physician will tell you.
8. What if I'm on medications?
Bring your full medication list to your first visit. Some medications affect what we can safely include in your drip. This is exactly why every UOC IV protocol runs under physician review.
9. Do you offer mobile or at-home IV therapy?
No. Every session is delivered in our medical-grade suites (Orlando primary, with Kissimmee and Port St. Lucie also live). This lets us maintain the standard of care and the physician oversight we hold ourselves to.
10. How is the Vitamin D3 Drip different from the other drips?
Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin, and it works differently than the water-soluble nutrients in most drips. You won’t feel an immediate boost the way you might with hydration or Myers’. Vitamin D3 effects on energy, mood, immune function, and bone health build over days and weeks as your levels rise. We recommend baseline labs before starting a Vitamin D3 protocol and follow-up labs at 8 to 12 weeks to track your response. During your consult, your physician will confirm whether an IV drip, an IM injection, or oral supplementation is the best route for your specific case. All three are effective; the right one depends on your labs, your goals, and your medical history.
